My online journey began when I was given a computer in my bedroom with no safeguards at the ripe age of 9. I entered the online world when AIM chatrooms, chain emails, and Myspace were popular. While the internet surely has transformed since the days I was first welcomed by it, it's safe to say it's still a dangerous place for children to be without boundaries. 

As a homeschooling mom of 4 tech savvy humans who love playing games online, and using their devices to keep in touch with friends and family all over, I can't help but feel grateful for modern technology and the good it brings to people on a daily basis. 

About 5 years ago, I started working for a social platform, and as a Sr. Trust & Safety (aka online safety) professional, I've worked diligently to keep people safe from the many harms that can come from being online. As you can imagine, I've seen a lot. I know that our children are vulnerable and there is a whole world out there that they need to be protected from.

As a mom, I understand the emotional fatigue that comes from all of the decisions you as a parent are constantly navigating on a daily basis. The average child says “Mom” around 100 times per day. Your brain is overloaded! That’s why my mission is to lessen the mental strain you feel when your child asks you questions about any tv show, movie, book, social platform, app, or game they want to participate in. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge & tools necessary to keep your children safe, not cause you additional anxiety, that’s why I created my Savvy Automated Mom Bot (SAM)!

This is a safe space for  parents who need help creating healthy boundaries for their kids but don't have the time to research every game, social platform, tv show, or movie that their kids want access to. I'd be honored to help you make informed decisions about how to keep your child(ren) safe online.
